I haven't tested the performance yet (and probably won't get a chance till next week) but I have checked my terrains still work. I defaulted the equalization to off as I thought this was best until we can look into why there is the performance hit.

Since I wanted to have callbacks on keyUp, I copied what it does on keyDown, which works for me. I could have just used keyDown and saved myself the trouble, but you know me... :-)
