# WELT2000
WELT2000 is a free database of airports and waypoints worldwide.
The data is the basis of a lot of instruments and software for airsports.
WELT2000 is made by airsportsmen for airsportsmen.
WELT2000 is an original work of a number of [contributors](http://www.segelflug.de/vereine/welt2000/index.html.en).

This is a fork of [WELT2000](http://www.segelflug.de/vereine/welt2000/index.html.en).
The intention is to make use of github infrastructure to simplify contributions, reviews and discussions about the database.
